Your ex-assistant-monitor (lol somehow i dun ever rmbr being one, kay kay did EVERYTHING) is now in her final semester, pulling her hair out of stress from assignments but will be going to perth next week for university games. =p

next year i'll end up in Singapore for work. got an offer from them 2 years ago and finally decided to take up the offer recently. i'll be working in Tan Tock Seng Hospital if anyone cares. lol. come buy me food!

haha, hi everyone, itz me, again.

recently touched down from aussieland, self-quarantining in process (eventhough, admittedly, wasn't very successful). Just want everyone to know, H1N1 is just a blardy common flu that occurs EVERY year. dun see any reasons for the panic state of Malaysia, but yet again, self opinion.

I'm leaving for Italy this coming thursday! yes.. Italy = Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan. haha, itz a bagpacking trip with my sister and brother. haha, itz not as luxurious as you think it would be. This one is hutang wan.. i'm gonna have to pay for it in the future..

how's everyone going? as far as i know, Peijin, Kim Ling, Jia Xing, Sue May and Kang Lik and whoever that was in IMU pharmacy, are now all in UK.. not too sure about the IMU meds though, updates anyone?

how's everyone going? i hope there's easter break for those in Malaysia, i kno Monash malaysia ppl do.. XD

Anyway, as some of you would have know, I went to Adelaide for 4days during easter break. Took a 10hour bus... gee, it sure is tiring.. but itz all worth it~~!! here are some photos,

.. a whispering wall!! stand at one pt of the dam wall and whisper, the person on the other side of the wall can hear u clearly! itz sooo bizarre that it almost feel magical to me..
btw, Adelaide is BEAUTIFUL~~~ this is Maslin beach.. widely known as the nude beach but NO, i did not see anyone nude.. at least, not close enough to see.. heheh
but they really have some weird sense of art in terms of their city decoration..
like.. really weird.. this looks almost like a fly bat to me..
yup, they're weird. (no offense at all to those tat love adelaide.. jz a personal opinion).. or i simply just dun get art..
so yup, I sms Siew Hwei beforehand and we arranged for a meeting in Glenelg beach... it appears to be a hip place.. lots of ppl ard...
we ate fish and chips, which both of them generously belanja-ed me..THANK YOU~~ and we ate it beside the beach! hahahah.. ppl were staring at us man...
then after tat too full liao, and too thirsty after eating the massively salted fish and chips.. we went to McD to get a drink!
then.. itz girl's talk! WAKAKAKAK~~ seriously, it was good fun! i've found out lots of stuff that i didn't know before.... kekekeke...
so anyway.. the rest of the photos are majorly with Sarah.. maybe she'll post up in her blog! i'm off now.. lots of work to catch up with.. till then~ ta! =)

And I'm sure we will go further into the future. :D Wow... it's been about three years since we've all first met. How has the past few years been for everyone?

For that matter, how's everyone doing? :) Well in all aspects, I hope. I'll be leaving for my hometown soon, so I'll just take this opportunity to wish happy holidays and Happy Chinese New Year, everyone. ;)

The following will be a group photo and several videos taken during the outing at 1U some weeks ago. :D I took more videos as they were more easily taken. XD Thank you so much to Kim Ling and Pei Jin for helping to organise the gathering and it was really great to be able to meet up with all of you after so long. It was really good to be able to catch up on what each one of us has been up to, and in person too. The card games gave me such laughter as well. XDDDD To everyone else, I hope that there'll be an opportunity for us to meet up in the future. Though, I heard that there might be another gathering before the end of this month... ^^

A little note about the videos; the sizes may be bigger than usual, and that's because I've taken them on a better format. I've manage to get larger memory space so I'm not willing to compromise that to get smooth videos for memories~! :P Without further ado...

It's been so long since we had shots like this. ^^ I think Chu Jie and Pei Jin got better group shots, though, as we can't see everyone here. XDD

The given camera pan accross the table. ;) This time while people were ordering their food. XD

Ron arrived about an hour later, which explains why he's missing from the group picture. We split into two groups after lunch; Kim Ling, Kang Lik, Michelle, Rakish and Vincent went to watch "Outlander" while Chu Jie, Kien Jeen, Pei Jin, Siew Hwei, Sue May and myself did some window shopping. Later, Chu Jie had to leave early as we was a little unwell that day. :( It was good to meet up with you though, Chu Jie and hope to see you again soon~ We met up with Ron on the way and tagged him and his friend to the top of the building where we saw them play a little baseball. Videos and pictures ahoy~

We managed to goad our Darling Treasurer (or is it Darling ex-Treasurer?) into trying a hand at the sport, and I recorded a few of his attempts.

After a few more rounds of baseball and meandering, along with a little shopping for shoelaces, we congragated at the same spot we had our bubble tea close to two years ago.

Took a couple of shots of the drinks for fun. :P

As always, we had games to go with the drinks. The first game we had was the old favourite, bluff. Kien Jeen turned out to be good at... truth-telling! Thus he dubbed himself, the King of Truth!

Not only that, but he manages to call someone's bluff as well!

The BEST of the lot; The King strikes again!! Don't let the size of the video prevent you from downloading this though. It has suspense! Comedy! Kien Jeen going V°3°V has got to be worth watching, and the scenes that led to that. XDDDD I'm sorry Kien Jeen. The camera loves you. :D

All this while our friends at the other table were having nice quiet conversations and even a game of chess going on.

The volume was upped when we played Heart Attack. My hands were full, so no video. :P After a few nerve-wrecking (with a few hands smacked) rounds, we grouped up with the rest and had a game... which involved losers being demoted to levels of pig-dom, courtesy of Michelle. :D

It starts with a rounds of passing cards around, à la "Heart Attack". However, when one has a full suit of the type of card (eg: four aces), one must immediately do a hand signal, like putting your thumb to your forehead, for instance. Everyone has to quickly follow suit and the last person becomes a level one pig. There are... six or seven levels, are there?

The humans, i.e., the players that have not lost, cannot talk to the pig or be demoted to their level if so. Basically, only players of the same level can freely speak to each other. So, the level one and level two pigs tried hard ["Eh, what time's dinner ah?"] to get those higher ranked than them talking, and what fun it was. XDDD I wish I could've videoed it. If only my hands weren't occupied. XD Sad that not everyone got to participate as the table wasn't large enough. :( We'll get one next time.

I couldn't stay till the end as I had to leave early, but I do hope I'll be able to meet up again soon, before we part ways once again. Going through the past posts really brought back memories, and it was good seeing what you guys have been up to during the past few months and even years.

I wasn't able to properly manage my time, but with a little bit of luck, I'll hopefully be able to better balance commitments and perhaps upload a few photos of my own. My stay in Tasmania has been nothing short of wonderful, despite some ups-and-downs on what I like to call the emotional rollercoaster. At times, it has been hectic, what with all the deadlines and assignments, but hey, that's all part and parcel of uni life. XD What it lacks in entertainment and big city life, it makes up with beautiful, natural sceneries almost everywhere. :D I'll get some shots up next time.

So! I hope to be able to see you guys, but if not, I hope we'll be able to keep in touch. Some friends managed to coerce me into using Facebook XD, if not, there's always e-mail... which I hope to use more frequently, and that goes for MSN too.

Where? When? And how we gonna get ther? By this, we've gotta draft a probable plan timeline for IMU, Melb, Monash, Murdoch, Syd... and the list goes on... Collaboration ppl! that's more or less it.

now this is something we have neva tried before... it' gonna be a trip to another sumplace.. but just overseas, that's the condition ~like DUh! Well, the was a suggestion.. Taiwan, and our ol' matey Khai Jing might be there. She'd kno lotsa places and of course, become le tourguide of the trip! Think about it... tour guide, Taiwan and G11. It's gonna be a blast! Hopefully evryone's got their passport done.

I tweaked the date of post a bit so the post above can stay.. above. XD I was actually counting on Kok Loong to do this post, but o well, decided to put up the photos from my camera first. I trust that either Morni or Kok Loong will post up their photos soon (*pressure*)

I was told that Morni and her friends are coming over to Melbourne. So imagine my surprise when Kok Loong was sitting right there waiting for us!! WAAAAH~~ haha.. Morni is as funny as always.. along with Min Li, the combination kept me laughing over and over again like it used to back in G11!

We had an extremely spicy nasi briyani meal, then we're off to a tour in Melbourne Uni and then Melbourne Museum. HAha.. i was so jakun at everything that i'm almost a tourist myself.

The 2nd day, I was sleeping almost the whole day that i didn't join them till dinner. We had dinner in Sofia's camberwell, a restaurant that is famous for pasta! Group photo!

HARLOW~~~ Everyone still hanging on there? I trust that all of us are on hols now. Those in australia should be shivering in cold now (GAWD I AM!), those in malaysia should be sweating like hell now and... o wait, funnily enough, we don't have anyone in UK yet, have we?

I am... currently on a 3weeks hols, so short that I couldn't possibly fly back. Sorry sorry... Jean, Min Li and Ron is still here too. I heard that Morni is arriving in Melbourne today for a vacation as well!

I am also... currently in search of a job in pharmacy. Knocking my head on the walls along the way due to frequent rejection... sigh... In the meantime, i'm catching up with Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives (yes i kno, itz loong ago), Prison break... etc etc... risking the chance of getting myself a specs. Next sem i'll be having 5subjects (T_T): pharmacy practice, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology and pharmaceutical microbiology. "Looking forward" to another gruesome semester. My results should be out by next friday, 11th of July. OMG SOOOO CLOSE!!! keeping my fingers crossed that i'll pass my pharmacology... *pray*

*shivers* I guess... I'm too cold to continue, I intend to get a thick jacket, put it on and climb into my bed where i'll be covered with 2 layers of blanket so i won't be frozen till death. Here's a photo of me a week ago, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate, REALLY WARMS ppl up.

Hey PPL!!! I'm sorry that i couldn't update for a looong looong looooong time.. but anyway, here i am now!

Recently it was Easter break (1week) for us, so i went to Sydney along with my coursemates..

you'll be pleased to find that Sydney is almost like KL. Lots of cars, lots of traffic jam, lots of robbery and thefts and guess what? we have KL tower, they have Sydney tower!

This is the famous Harbour bridge.
and the Sydney Opera House!!! On sunday, it was Earth Hour (which u shut off lights for an hour), mana tau this bad bad sydney opera house refuse to comply, they didn't shut off the lights!!! sheesh... i was hoping it to be plain black... -.-
We also went to Bondi Beach, where hot guys and hot girls in swimming suits made us feel very over-dressed... From left: Christy, Me and Pei Xian (my coursemate)

This is Blue Mountain National Park. The 3... er... peaks there are called the Three Sisters, which long long time ago tried to elope with some warriors and got turned into stones for it. Itz an amazing view there, as much as you know that trees are actually green, the view you get is BLUE!

It was kang lik's birthday last wednesday. And since most of us were not able to attend the dinner that was organised by my batchmates on wednesday night, hence, we went makan on friday instead. Okay, i'm not very good at elaborating. So, i guess, pictures will do a great job. hehe.

Hey Rakish here, ermm... I dunno whether ppl still visit this blog. Seems like it's kinda dead coz the shout-out box's last entry was on valentine's day.. and I think it's just one person... so yea.. dead~ness. ANyway, I guess ya'll are busy nowadays, so I wouldn't take much of ya'lls time. I just wanted to share this story. Just leave some comment on what you think of it. And probably answer the question?

The era was the dark ages and in it this vigilante organisation was formed, the protector a certain city. This org had 3 leaders; Rayden, Rozz and Boc. Rayden was a family man, with a baby girl and his wife. So were his comrades. In upon formation of this org, they all pledged a vow, with their sword on their chest, making a promise to protect this city no matter what the cost. Rail, the city, just had one tall wall, separating the outer region and the inner region. And a single gate controlled the crowds flooding in everyday.

One foggy day, an army of vandals came with weapons of siege. By the masses, they poured down the hills and through the streets of Rail they marched. They burnt down houses along the way, killing anything in their path. Efforts were made to fend them off, but the efforts soon pushed to retreat. So at last it came to this - the wall. Their last stand against the vandals was at that very gate. Raydan, along with the other two leaders were in the front line, very much unlikely for elites to be in the head of battle. They stood their ground, even though Rozz and Boc were seemingly off-focus. Their star was gone and so were their will for living.

Rayden knew what they had lost, for their families were residents of the outer region. Still.. Rayden couldn't help to think of his own. They were behind him, the inner region was his home. He didn't want them to end up slaughtered, being victims of the sword. Most of all, his mind was fixated on his baby girl. She just turned two a week ago, and has yet to make him proud. So what did he do? He contemplated. Considering both his memories and what was before him, he decided. He took off, leaving his sword at his post. All Rozz and Boc could do was watch him as he turn his back on them. But they didn't see him fade into the fog because the vandals were in their faces by then.

Rayden took his small family from home, and through a secret passage, they headed to safety. Only Rayden knew about this passage. Unfortunately, that statement was false. A band of vandals came from the other direction and cut them down on the spot. His wife and child were killed there and then. Only Rayden broke through their chain and ran away with bruises. He escaped Rail alone.

News spread that Rail was completely destroyed. But then years later, it was once again rebuilt. One dark night, in a tavern filled with bar songs as music and ale as companions, a visitor came in, looking cold and hard. It was Rayden. He came back. And to his surprise, he found his ex-comrades sitting right beside him in front of the bartender. They managed to survive the siege too. They gave him a smuck on their faces when they saw him and bashed him up with questions like, "Why did you run away?! How could you betray us?!" He had no reason to answer them, for he knew they had paid equivalent. And so, he just left without his drink and walked off through the door.

It was indeed cold on the narrow streets. The night sky brought this and darkness. Lonely, just thinking about that day was all that he did. But suddenly, everything came into a rush. A dagger into his chest, breaking a few ribs was what happened. He started to spew blood from his mouth and the night seeped into his eyes. I'm now in my second year, just finish my last exam today, meaning i had completed my first sem of 2nd year.Next sem will have to start the most horrible subject--- Anatomy and Histology. We have to study that for 3 sem T_T... Oh yeah, to those that still blurr where am i... My University is located in Hualien of Taiwan, its totally different from Taipei City. and yup, lecturers over here speak chinese, we write and do homework either in english or traditional chinese. My test book are of course in english, just that lecturers speak chinese...

Erm... Everything over here is nice. We went out by bicycle and just have to cycle for bout 10 minutes you will get yourself real close to the pacific ocean. And so, once we are bored of studying, there is where we will go to relax^^ We cycled everywhere as everyone dont have any transportation and there is no public bus or LRT over here. Once we have 2 or 3 days holiday, we will surely organize activities. International students over here isnt that much, thats why we are real close and really like a big family.

This coming Chines New Year I'm not going back~ My first time to celebrate in Taiwan. K la, That's all for this time. Everyone, take care yeah!

First of all, Happy New Year! and soon, Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentine's day!!

How's life been for all of u?? I've been back for nearly 3months already. Current status is constantly growing horizontal and rotting at home.

I met up with Jean and Min Li yesterday for a rojak lunch in Subang. Later on, me and Min Li went to Taylor's to visit our lecturers. We met Ms Loke, Puan Mahani and Mr Goh. You'll be pleased to find that both Ms Loke and Mr Goh look slimmer now and Puan Mahani, is the same like always. =p If you do have time, do go back and visit the lecturers, it is really amusing... hahhaah...

p/s: A special message from Puan Mahani to dear Ronnie and Ronnie ONLY: "You are kacang melupakan kulit! Come back and visit us!!" (note: i wasn't exactly sure about the exact sentence, but this is roughly the meaning =p)

However, I'm still applying for Dentistry in University of Melbourne using my 1st year Pharmacy results.. Er... a lot of people asked me, "why the trouble?". I admit that with all the cash$$ and time involved, it is a HELL lot of trouble. But i think that the cash can be earned back and time is really not an issue. What's important is more of my passion for that career. However, IF i'm not successful, I'll continue on with my 2nd year Pharmacy. I'll be going there on 22nd of February 2008.

Amateur Concert

OH heyyy, this Rakish yah. There's gonna be this amatuer concert this coming Friday. It's on the 28th December at around 6 - 11pm? Err... I was thinking this would be a nice event for a gathering, since it's gonna be at a big place for one. I'll list down the details first. So if anyone interested, you can just leave a comment saying, "roger roger" or anything you like ^^

Kinda the wrong thing to say huh? Still, I'm kinda worried that I might flinch if ya'll are there.. coz I'm not too brave on stage, especially if someone I kno is in the crowd. Still, there might not be lights turned on the audience, so I might be okay then =)

Heys. First post eversince back to Ma-Lai-Sia! kekekek....

5of us: Peijin, Siew Hwei, Kim Ling, Rakish and me. Itz probably bad timing for others but No worries! we can always have another gathering again! anyway... We went to Yuen's steamboat. heard so much ab it via reading blogs... I've gotta try it..

I never really believe it when they say itz hard to obtain the chicken... and guess what? It really is plain craziness.. 5minutes before the tray of chickens everyone was crowding around the EMPTY tray... O.O i could barely squeeze in!!!

the 2nd time, we learnt that the refilling of chicken is every 15minutes. So me and Siew Hwei and Peijin guard around the EMPTY tray 10minutes before it... and standing there looking slightly idiotic DID paid off... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... may i present you our success.... Since its peijin's bday and most of us are here this week, we are planning to have a gathering this thursday.

In the morning we will be meeting up in Sunway Pyramid for ice skating and movie. The main event is at night in Yuen's Steamboat. Those who cannot make it in the morning, come and join us at night :)

Swan Brewery excursion

Okok, Julie and I with some other ppl, joined this excursion yea. We went to a brewery... Swan Brewery it's called. It's a Biomed society event. I actually was kinda ...(ehem)... reluctant to go, but well... went anywayz, (dun wanna tell ya ppl why) XP. Well, here's a modified story on the trip. Hopefully you people can understand.

The sun brewed it's cup of tea, transforming the plain as we see it to the shade it desires, tasteful to its time-preferenced tongue. Our hero (that's me) went forth on a journey to the depths of the facility En Bereauwreath - Swan Brewery. On soles he tranversed the paths of travel twart the familiar institution, known in past time to be the rendezvous site. And yet, a fair lady (that's Julie) joined his shortly-changed party, unexpectantly startling his wits and stretching his irises. Nonetheless, he took it no hassle and as company, he found it benevolent in speech. The hero braced pathways narrow and wide, through the shaded and the bright, all for the sake of reaching a place, a spot, with time running dry. It wasn't long till the party formed to be a crowd and the crowd burst forth to a band divided. Hence and for long, the carriage of steel steeds halted at rendezvous, and all in all we were consumed by the doors and onward with embarking. Rounds of timed sands, flipping over and over and over again, avast we reached our destination; En Bereauwreath. Our hero stepped off and so did milady, and in our hands soon a card was given. Guards were needed not, but this card had all to do with it. That is all for it and there isn't anymore, except for its return. Yet, the hero marched through the wall along with his companions. And soon, the guide took over along with words from an elderly bloke, "Put an end to your canned speech" more or less what he had said. And so we did, but Shade let out a cry after choking the life out of it. Eyes turn to our hero, but no, he didn't stagger. Only at the stare of the bloke was he shaken. Even so, he bravely countered the lash of a question which was thrown to him. An obvious reply, but how could he not understand the cry of my Shade, knowing that it had died with no blood on my hand? Soon after, the guide took us through, up and above, stepping on wood as we went. And then looking, overlooking, the vast space of metal giants and complex gadgetry; none of which our hero could tinker with, but that did no prevention in his own form of capture. *SNAP* Reality trapped in the bliss of Aquamarine, deciphered by C-663. Oh yes, the guide did pour out facts, some were in the information, others were not mostly. What more the story of past kegs and a tale of the dangerous rod, one of which may make the eyes of the operator bleed , worse yet... blindness. And what did we see you might ask? Kegs, obvious and true, but more to interest, the merry-go-round of drunkness. This was intoxicated most with sight. A long trail of booze we saw, all in their metal cages, running, making haste even though we were not. Slowly the guide brought us to where we were allowed, places of some had showcases where interest, boredom, dull and astonishment lie beyond plastic covers. But further and further we went, gaining knowledge most were, while the rest have wandered from the in-crowd or escaped to the realms of fantasy. Structures and antiques we saw, but it was the last of the last which brought glee to most hearts - the ale. Yes, the one to finish with... beer-tasting it was called. Our hero's companions all took a dive into the cup of golden liquor. It's spiking stench was clearly present, and no, the hero didn't want any. Poison... poison to insensibility, if overdosed. Though persuasion pushed him down, he abstained from drinking. However it wasn't long till he clutched a glass of his own and gulped down sweet liquid. The taste was like none present in the hands of the rest. Specially given by the guide herself, after witnessing his throat unquenched. Still, the world didn't spin too fast nor did it quake to end with a fall. Hahaha. Our hero was sober, and in reality, he didn't partake any hard beverage there. It was something else which was avaliable to the hero's tastebuds. Lights shot forth their arrows as smiles were displayed with shoulder to shoulder, being instantly boxed up. Clueless why, but we had to leave. Time could have been the factor, but could it be something else? Nevertheless, we did move on... onto the carriage of steel horses and onward to recreation.

I think I'd stop here. Yea... creative juices have kinda dried up on me. I think I'll just post some pics so you ppl may understand a lil sumthin' sumthin'. Ahahahahha. Urhh.. my head...

Heyy peeps, yesterday I went for a ball. It was SOOOOOOO good... Okok... the performances wasn't as good as our SAM corroboree, but the food was definitely better. So don't feel left out, kayz?. Oh yea... Michelle should have been there... I wonder whether she actually went for it or not? Anywayz... the time was to begin was 6.45, but me and some others involved in performances had to come earlier for practice. I was in the choir and we sang, 'You Raised Me Up' - Romeo X Juliet version. Actually... I didn't have much to sing, but still... chun song wei. Hahaha. Besides, choir is just to enhance the song. BUT to tell you the truth... eh heh... our efforts didn't mean much coz the lead's mic was very VERY loud (or ours weren't too loud enough?), so we got drained out. So imagine a group of people, behind the lead singer, flappin' our mouths... although, we were looking stylin' in our formal wear. Hahahha. Well, other than the choir, there was the dance performance, which was pretty cool. It's a fusion thing... watch the video and you'll know what I mean. {SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMNET: sorry, the video I can't show ya'll unless I wait like for erm... well, leave my com on overnight for the uploading process of like 1kb/s for a 115MB video. Haihz..., really sorry)

Oh yea, did I tell you about the food? It was actually really good, this 3-course meal. The entre, the main course and the desert. In the entre there was like this scallop, kinda weird... I thougt it was supposed to be a shelfish of a sort, like an oyster but it was presented as a round beige puck-like thingy which was actually an interesting morsel. SOmeone even asked for more... and well, (laughs in the background) he got refused. OUCH. For the main course, there was an alternate serving of either skin-less chicken (which I thought was FISH...XD) and steak. I got the chicky, but swithced for steak... Mmmm.. steak... (lip-smacking) Well yeah, that was nice too. But the bestest best part was the desert!!! There was this soup spoon which carried a scoop of ice-cream (cookies & cream, I figure) together with this apple pie sorta mini-tower which had this rich caramel at the base. It was soooooo good!!! I wanted more. So you know what I did??? During the slow dance, I went over to another table, and spotted an unattended desert plate. According to a friend, it was NOBODY'S! Yay!!! SO I was like munching down on that exquisite delicacy, even though I found myself full...( haihz..) I force myself anywayz. Wakakaka. =] Hmmm... do I hv a picture of this tasty treat? YEA, of course I do! (Wait I'll post LATER)

Oh yes, I mentioned dancing, right? Hahhaha. Yes I did. Dancing... well... tsk,... I did dance and I was one of the first (if not, really the first one...hee hee) to drag a lady to the dancefloor. She's my friend lerr, not some random person that someone dared me to ask for a dance (btw, someone did dare me to do something like that... offered 5 bucks too. And what did I say? "Keep your money", then I was in motion towards the girl (of course jokingly lerr... trip that fella enuf edi. haihz, you really think I wanna humiliate myself a? NO WAY!!!) [Kinda pathetic tho, people stoopin' down to dares at a formal party just for entertainment] Oh, where was I? Hmmm... ah yes, the dancing... yea, I did dance and switch partner and dance summore. Dance the cha cha, and ermm... some kinda dance that we made up, like the waltz, but I started drifting and so she followed too. That was really nice lerr... the drifting part, swaying and moving distances, unlike the other ballroom dances, small area dance... bah! But there was also the slow dance, in which I din go in (you kno why lerr... XD) Oh and the freestyle part... okok, in a group of guys and girls I joined, which made a ring,... And this fella suddenly only come in and stuck his his butt out and started to whack it like some kinda whacko in the ring itself (Maybe some like what Mr. Goh would do? Right, Mr. Goh???). Hahaha, hillarious. And I kno that person, too. He was in the choir, the same row as I. Trip, man. AHhahaha. Oh, the music was mainly of jazz as they had this live band playing and the singer sang rewally well too (Can be Min Hui's competition, coz she sang Fever - Michael Buble, too). Other than Fever, she sang a lot of other songs and one of which was that song Robbie Wiliams sang... Somewhere... beyond the sea... That Finding Nemo song. But she sang it slower I guess. In the end I had reaL fun lerr. I did lotsa things stuff I liked and I was snapping photos away, like a photoshot spree. I dunno whether I can place it all here (kla, not all lerr. Might just put a few) Ah! Did I tell you I tasted wine? First, there was white... *Bluek*, then red... *Bluek*, THEN a mix of white and red with dilution... *Bluek* (at lesat better than the last ones). I didn't like the after taste... yuckz. ANyway, there were really good champaign, (implied by one of the guys there), but I wasn't able to get any... maybe I wouldn't have liked it anywayz. AND I was SOBER all the way, okay? No way I'd get drunk, highly unlikely. Although one of my friends did get drunk. I dunno whether I knew at that time, but I saw him at an empty bar like heads on folded arms, on the table. I just asked him whether he was okay, and saw eyes of red when he looked at me. (I think he said, "I'm okay." hehe) So all set and done, I went back to my place, feelin' tire in my eyes, but my body could still take a few hits. The best part of the party, in general, was that I really enjoyed myself, dancing, singing (this one on my own lerr at the balcony.. teehee) and havein' fun. The best part of the party, specifically, was that I ate that SUPER DELICIOUS desert (Mmmmmmmm..., perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime sorta thing). However, the wurst part was that I lost my keys to the house and my room. =( SO how'd I manage to get in? well, for the front door, I just had to call an inside man. But for my personal chamber, I had to use a skill. Hehehhe. NIce wei that day. Too bad test coming... tmr (two days from the event). Haihz...

There was much confusion in celebrating his birthday, seeing that he has got such a packed schedule on wednesday... ie from 10-5pm i think.... crazy... well anyway, turns out that he didn't know we're coming and we didn't know that he didn't know that we're coming.... XD i dunno what i'm crapping about...

So anyway, we decided to bake Ronnie a cake. Oreo cheesecake, courtesy of my sis's recipe and my bro's instructions.

Hey peeps, what up from Perth. Yes, this is Rakish and from the first-time EVER, he's blogging! Wow,... acheivement wei. =) *pats back and smiles* Oh yea, I have to give some preps to Chuj for the user ID, and Sarah for the password. (C'mon, everybody, clap clap!)

Okay okay, it's been like more than a month since touch down and well, this place has kissed up a lil' so far. Murdoch uni ain't too fantastic, but on the good side, I gots lotsa free time. You see... I'm only taking 3 units this sem (and one of them is a so called 'foundation unit') So yea... imagine on fortnights I have 3 days with only one lecture... in a row summore; Mon-Wed. So what does Monsieur Rakish do in his free time? hehehehe... well other than the known record of 'head hunting' (lookin' for frens lerr)... I also sit-in for lectures. Let me see... once for finance, one for programming, another for accounting, twice for chiropractics, and twice for marketing. So free, yah? hahaha. Oh, and other than crashing, I have been sighted on a small field, just in front of the library, doing some stunts along with an Aus dude who was said to look like a ninja, even though that day he wore T-shirt and pants... don't ask me why but that's my fren's opinion. (but still, he does own SEVERAL katanas, so probably in a somewhat right direction?) Hello... How are you guys doing? :)

Well, it's been about...close to three months since I got back. I went into hiding during the first month, to take a break and resettle after being away from home for the longest time as of yet. Come July, I started my driving lessons which were on almost everyday. I had to practice like mad to get my driving license, and it didn't help that I sucked majorly at it at first, especially at roundabouts. Getting my license was a miracle. I still need heaps of practice even till today though, judging from my mum's reactions when she's sitting next to me while I'm driving. Had my hands full while helping to edit the church newsletter some weeks ago. Now it's August, and I'm back to helping Mum run errands or shopping. Still no sign of a part-time job yet..phooey.

If anyone's wondering how it was at camp... it was, surprisingly enjoyable. Thanks so much for the encouragements and reassurances before I went. :) The first few weeks were torture ("Eh, how long left?" "85 more days. D:" "T_____T"), but as we got used to it, and made friends, it became better, bit by bit. Not that it was perfect (for instance, it was usual for us to be told of what physical activity we'd be carrying out minutes before it actually takes place, instead of in advance.), but the positive experiences far outnumber the negative ones and it was definitely better than expected. :D We were in good hands and good company.

If anyone's remotely interested, maybe one day I'll put up a more detailed post about the whole thing, with pictures to boot. XD I'll also try to put up pictures and movies I took at college throughout last year. Maybe it'll be a fortnightly thing, depending on if I've anything on.

Hi all... How's life?

I'm doing fine, could be better, but still surviving.. so no worries! Recently i've got back my internet connection (thankfully!!!), after three gruesome weeks without it, i'm definitely grateful..

Monash pharmacy is fascinating in the sense that it is so different from malaysia. In Malaysia, really, how many times have u been to a pharmacy to buy drugs? itz more likely that u go there to buy a strip of mentos or something... here the pharmacies remains the only person that prescribe drugs... so different, i wonder if i'd be jobless by the time i go back to m'sia...

How ARE YOU GUYS?!?!?!

I'm on holiday now!!! I was incredibly enthusiastic at first, but now i'm starting to get bored... few days into the start of holiday i've already indulge myself into a series of Taiwan movie. Just wondering, Khai Jing, do u get to watch those drama series on TV for free there? hahhaa.. i managed to break my record of watching 11 episodes in one day, FYI, itz "Devil beside u" (E Mo Zai Shen Bian). Come to think of it, i don't even know when my holiday is gonna end! XD

I've got plans for my holiday, i'm going Ballarat (gold mining place.. $$ XD) in 2 days time!! anyway, Just 2 days ago, i went to a place call Williamstown with Min Li and her uni friends, it was nice!! i mean, i saw the sea of australia for the first time... (hahha.. i know, jakun!) Somehow there's less sand on the seaside compare to M'sia's beach. There's more rocks.

We also went to the Train Museum where's there's a lot a lot of trains~~ After that we went to ScienceWorks, which is like a science museum... hahahahaa.. i finally found out how washing machines works!!! lol seriously, we rarely use washing machines back in M'sia. when i come here, i do use washing machine once in a while (becoz washing clothes with hands in winter is damn hand-torturing!!!), and i've never been able to figure out where the dirt goes to. XD i know... jakun again!!

At night, me, Jean and Mince went Ron's house to makan. We watched a video of ppl torturing themselves with weird ways...... (i just dunno why Ron bothered to download those videos =.=") It is nice to conclude that in one day, i've known Mince's gang of friends and Ron's gang of friends.... and i knew Jean's gang of friends, basically, i can proudly say that the circle of friends is COMPLETE!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH~~~ a bit exaggerating but anyway... HAHAHAHHAHAHAAAH~~~~~~~~

Dear EVERYONE..

I'd just thought I'd drop a few lines, since some of us are updating! hehe (=

Life in Melbourne has been good! Melbourne Uni is really pretty, some of the buildings are quite old, but when they're lit up at night, they look really beautiful, nothing like Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, but you get the picture. And during the day, when it's not too cold or windy, my friends and I like to sit out on the lawns to have lunch. They have lots of space and grass here to sit on. So romantic. (An aside: I once saw a wedding couple in Uni, not sure what they were doing, but I'm guessing they were taking wedding pictures, like I said, very romantic setting).

My lectures so far are pretty interesting, especially the pracitcals. We get to do dissections and 'play' with lots of new equipments in chem. hehe.. We get tests and assignments almost every week, so it's kind of like SAM, but without as much guidance. As I'm sure it's the same for everyone, have to do lots of self learning, and that's when I miss Pn Mahani and Mrs Yapp the most, they really walked us through every part of the way. In lectures now, I tend to always feel an overload of information, or sometimes I just walk away feeling totally lost. But that's just part of the part of the whole learning environment in a lecture hall, where there are ~200 people. I do most of my learning during tutorial sessions, which is more like a classroom environment that we're all familiar with. The semester seems so short though, just 2 more weeks and we're done. By the time exam finishes, it'll already be winter.. Oooo.. I'm sooo dreading the cold! (One word to describe the weather here: sakai. dowan to elaborate further, hrmph)

Going to the city is quite an eye opener, I actually quite like having to make my way around by walking (can exercise somemore). You get to see more things! Especially restaurants and book stores.. Oh, OH, by the way, the books and CDs here are cheap! if you know where to buy them, hehe. But unfortunately, my parents would kill me if they know how much I'm spending already. )= So I shall satisfy myself by window shopping only.

So anyway, I reckon we shouldn't be whining too much, about how LITTLE or how MUCH we have to do each day, just appreciate and learn to love whatever we're doing, since we're already taking that path anyway. I think the thing that I learnt most here is to really appreciate what we have, when we have it, like now, I miss all the conveniences we used to have in Msia, and of course all the LUR-VE-LY people back home! But that makes me appreciate even more what I'm having here now that I'm away from home, like my support system here (Jean, Cj, Ron), all the new friends made and having to live somewhat independently.

OKIE, I guess I'll end my nagging post here, with a few notes~~

Hi everyone...long time since i type anything in here...seems last time i only post stuff here is always before lectures...haha...anyways...I guess everyone is adepting to your life all well...all's well right?

So...life...how's life? Tat question was the first question tat KevinGoh ask me during ESL interview...anyway...life for me now is like kind of a routine...maybe some of you guys(n girls) can relate the same as me...go lectures...self-study...do assignment...sleep...haha, occasionally play PING PONG and DARTS...haha...two things that i've picked up in uni...besides...i even joined the choir...hahaha...my uni has their own song n about 99.99% of my uni students doesn't even know it exist.

wat else to type here...i'm like crapping this blog place as usual...sorry no pics coz i dun own a camera...and my handphone is too old to have a camera function on it...but i guess u ppl hv seen a couple of my pics on this blog...weird pics n normal ones...i still cycle to the train station each day...then i take an hour journey on the train to uni...AN HOUR!!! i'm so like considering to stay near uni next sem...two hours a day on the train...i'm like nearly trainophobic already...haha

n i'm taking CHINESE lessons now...with Kien Jeen too...hehe...learning 1 to 10000 in chinese...learn how to order food in chinese...learn to greet in chinese...etc etc etc...i guess u get wat i mean...haha...

know wats the best thing taking medicine in IMU...(note the sarcasm)...haha...two hours lecture per day..............2 hours per day...tat's all...2 lab sessions in a sem...and after tat is...plain nothing for medic students to do already...8am to 10am...tat's all...haha....kinda bored with it...i'm oso like "loving" my uni so so so so so so much...hahaha...oh...no hols too...even on our beloved Agong's coronation day...(patriotik le...)...

A new discovery when i was with Jean in search of UPS office to collect our textbooks. 7-Eleven here are rich enough to have their own petrol station.

Somehow in Melbourne u see Hot air balloons very often. And often, itz 3 or 4 hot air balloons together. Mostly with advertisments on it.

Melbourne University Education Resource Center (ERC) bookshelfs. Trust me, itz not as small as this photo shows. Melbourne uni has tonnes of library in the same one campus. ERC is only the library for education faculty.

I saw camels in Queen Victoria Market (just near my apartment) REAL camels!!!!!

Heyz, how're u ppl?

I'm on the 2nd day of my orientation. Itz not too bad, other than getting myself sun-burnt (gosh i really hope tat the sunblock tat i bought works well...). I grew to realise that Australian universities are rich, real rich. Everyday of the orientation we get free lunch, really FREE lunch. Although itz just hotdog, itz good enough for a poor kid like me who tried to survive in Melbourne, tatz why i'm willing to que up for a lonnng loong time juz to get it. Really, things that did not really matter to us back in M'sia came into real consideration now. The more tat u spend, the more that u eat into ur pocket. Itz not like last time where u can simply march into McD to hav a double cheese burger. (GOSH I MISS TAT!!!). I'm still living my days by counting everything i bought x3. So.. yeah.. OUCH!

University is alright. I've came to realise how small the world is, kept meeting ppl that i've some sort of relations with. Khai Jing's cousin, my primary school fren, my fren's fren.... And note, u'd thought u'll see lots of guai lou here, but heck no. Look down the crowd, u see lotz of black heads. There're a lot of Asians who migrated here and studied high school, then in Monash. International students are like.. minority. and we lose out a lot on the advantages too, now i really can see why ppl wanna become a PR here. Tram tickets are at least 50% cheaper for PRs!!! WAliao a... a monthly ticket that i'm intending to get cost around $98.90! Not only that, lots of scholarships are given to only australian citizens and PR.

Hmmmm... guess tatz all for now. I'm gonna reply a senior's e-mail, wanna buy books fr her, coz books are real expensive if u buy fr the book shop, $100+, yeah, tatz like... RM300+. She's selling quite cheap, i think i'm gonna buy fr her lar.. cya!

(P/S: o yea, did i mention? I'm trying to speak like them. Good DAy!)

Hey i reach NZ liao!!! TEN HOURS OF BORINGNESS!!! Can't even sleep wei. D sick(Not d other sick k Mich) old man beside me kept coughing. Spent my time watching two movies and rubbing my nose. HAHA too bad i got sick before i even left M'sia. That really made d journey worst. Anywayz i managed to reach safely. HAHA i can't really get intouch with u guys dat often cause my couz house dun have WIFI connection. abit troublesome for me to keep bringing the ocm down. i will be online during the odd hours though....free loading another neighbour's connection.........Sshhh.........

Damn Malu wei in d plane. so NOOB!!! i din even noe how to dislodge the controller from the seat and i din even noe where to plug in t headsets. d SICK man showed me. Couz currently at school and her dad is working fr Home. So i'm left to linger around the house.

Vincent is leaving for New Zealand tonight.

I dunno exactly how i felt. I should feel sad, shouldn't i? Or like how Vince has always told me: "U're a HEARTLESS person LAR!", i dun exactly feel a thing?

I so remember that at the start of the year when Vince is always sitting in a corner with Yi Ling (was this her name?), quiet and just talking to Yi Ling only. Till Yi Ling change class, I couldn't remember who was he with. There's a small lapse of memory there. Till the end of semester 1, tatz the time when Vincent grew to be the Vincent that i know now. A much better version of Vincent.

Ahh.. now i remember, he was with Kay Teck. After Khai Jing left, after the front-row-FOUR (ie. Me, Kai Lein, Khai Jing & Peijin) broke off, He and Kay Teck started sitting beside me and Kai Lein (as Peijin had moved to sit with Siew Hwei they all). Tatz the part when i've gotten to know Vince. And o.. i dunno since when, he began to join me, Kai Lein, Mince and Morni for lunch. I thought it was kinda weird at first, why wouldn't he join the bunch of guys? Vince if u happen to read this, mind explaining? But i've grow used to it after some time. Itz always around 10mins before break that he'll look at me with that smile of his hinting that "itz not gonna be good, whatever i'm gonna tell u" and asked "Chu Jie ar.. Later go where eat a?". LOL, sometimes i did managed to asked him first.. but eventually, whatever answers that comes out that time does not count, we always have to stop in front of the school gate and wait till someone makes a decision. Eating with the combination of Mince, Vince and Morni is always dangerous. As there's no guarantee that u will swallow your food with peace.. they always make me laugh when i'm eating.. till i choked on rice one day.. lol the rice went into my airway. And Vince really is not as innocent as he seemed to be, he can be very ham sap wan lor!!! ><

hahaha.. But he also very nice lar. I very the admire his initiative to send Kay Teck home EVERY single day. Fetching Kay Teck to LRT station takes another extra 2km for Vince to reach home? Sometimes even send him to his house leh! Though he is always saying, he must have someone to accompany him or he'll fell asleep while driving (Weirdo.. =.=), i still think itz nice of him. Oh, and yeah, he always fetch me and send me back wan, whenever got outing. LOL, free driver!!! Thanx a lot yeah!! for all the times u have to pass by your house gate just to send me back.. appreciate it!

And i dunno from when he started calling me 'Zu zai', which means piggie. And i started calling him 'Ngamk Zai', which means duckie.. How did that came about???

Vince ar.. go New Zealand Zi Ji bao zhong ar.. Dun kena EXPOSURE, i heard itz really OPEN there, till the issue appear in your education booklet. XD And be good yeah? It seemed that out of 3 of us that wants to become a dentist, u're on the most guarantee path. I wish u good luck lor.. U better get in Dentistry, 54 places u dun get in I'll murder u lar.. kekekee....

Hi guys and gals...

As some of you may already know, i have received an offer of admission for MBBS, February 2007 intake in IMU...Well, just like Kien JEen, i have also received a call from IMU on 4th of January 2007 saying that i have been offered a place to do medicine there...However, i was reluctant to tell u guys because i did not receive any letter and i thought someone could be playing a prank on me...I received the letter of admission on 8th of January 2007 but due to 'unavailable internet access' in my house, i couldn't post it on the blog...I have a few people to thank...
FIRST: GOD, for making this happen...
Second: My parents, brothers and relatives who have been praying for me...
Third: Myself, for meeting the requirements for medicine in IMU...
Fourth: My friends, CHU JIE for keeping her fingers crossed...
VINCENT for believing in me
and others (EE VON, SUE MAY, JIA XING, ALICIA, KIEN JEEN) for giving me advice and tips for the interview...

I was deciding to accept the IMU offer until i received a letter from Melaka Manipal Medical College asking me to come for an interview on 17th of January 2007...At the same time, i have to pay the semester 1 fees for IMU by 20th of January 2007...I am now in a dilemma!!!But nevermind, i will work it out somehow...Please do give me some advice though!!!

About the gathering; i am fine with the dates but i am not sure whether i can make it or not.. Why??? Well, my dad doesnt really like me going here and there, so i have to really ask and beg him to let me go...just like what i did for Corroboree...

To those who have not visited this blog for the past few days, please read through the previous post for information on a proposed gathering between all of us, and drop some comments on whether you can make it, or some suggestions regarding the event. Thanks. :)

Oh dear, it's taken me almost forever to put this up. I'm so sorry for that. The thing is, I haven't been allowed online as often as I could thanks to tough parental control and horrible time management...and the internet downtime. Before we get on to the main point of this entry, please allow me a few words.

Everyone, you've been enjoyable company throughout the year. The several months we were together was nothing short of wonderful, what with the camaraderie and sense of bonhomie among us all. During the first day at college, it had been nothing but awkwardness for me, but it quickly dissipated the moment we all opened up to each other; started to interact. I can still remember the moment Khai Jing and Chu Jie introducing themselves to myself and many other classmates, and Kay Teck and Kien Jeen (Kung Fu boy! XD) fittingly elected as class representative and class treasurer respectively due to their previous experience in highschool. The birthday parties are fun, and there is seldom a dull moment during lessons.

So, thank you, G11, for making this year one of the best ones in my life. And thank you too, especially towards to camera-shy crowd, for putting up with my random snapping. (I can't help it, candid photos are my favourite. XD) Everyone, you guys are awesome. I wish you the very best in your future plans, and may success follow your endeavours. I may have bottomless regrets about choosing this combination of subjects, but I'm eternally grateful to be put into this class, and for the people I know; both friends and lecturers. Again, thank you for everything.

So...um, thank you for your time, and sorry for the long wait. If anyone's interested on how I'm doing, I'm fine... but am busy helping out my mother with a lot of errands these days. To the peeps who went to Sunway Lagoon, I'm so sorry I had to pull out at the last minute. Had an Undang test the next day, and my parents thought it better that I spend the day revising. Sorry. :( I passed it though, thank God. I've got the 6 hour amali class to attend tomorrow morn. -_-;

Like Jeen said, yesterday was awesome!! Thx to Vincent, Christy, Michelle, Sarah, Peijin, Sue May, Siew Hwei, Min Li, Morni, Min Hui and of course, not to forget, our ah pa Kien Jeen who carried all our stuff.

Itz nice seeing a dozen of G11s walking around in Sunway Lagoon. Wouldn't it be even nicer if we can all meet together, 31 of us (if possible) plus 5 lecturers?

Since Khai Jing will be back on the 22nd, I suggest that the gathering be held on a Saturday OR Sunday (27th OR 28th) so the lecturers could attend as well. However, this means we have to collaborate all the dates of ppl flying off and ppl coming up to KL. It would be helpful if those flying off to Australia (or which ever country) can put down the date of your flight. AND those that live in outstation like Kok Loong, Kay Teck, Kai Lein, Kang Lik to put down the date that u guys are coming up to KL. so we can make appropriate arrangement to accommodate all.

So current status of the gathering is:

Date : 27th or 28th
Time : Lunch or Dinner
Location : PJ or Subang (or KL?)

Hey, how were you all doing? I had a very...'unforgettable' experience welcoming 2007. Hoho. Definitely UNFORGETTABLE. (Memang very the tulan...)

Let's get to story telling! Well, reading Sarah's post made me a bit bengang...cos I was in Times Square as well, and since I thought NOBODY was there, I went to 1U...to find out my friends were there initially.

Anyways, after watching the beautiful fireworks brightening the sky (or in other words, money flying up making big bangs), I had to endure the insane Ah Bengs...

Walauweh. The snow and strings in cans are CRAZY WEAPONS IN THE HANDS OF HYPERACTIVE TEENAGERS.

Despite the foams flying around giving certain people 'unique hairstyles' (macam mutated dandruff), my hair was 'snow and string free' (surely la, I hang out with old aunties at one area )

BUT THEN, THE NIGHTMARE STARTS.

What could be worse to start a new year than AN HOUR LONG TRAFFIC JAM...

So I hung around a little longer with my friends in the mall to get the air con...and finally left at 2
in the morn. ;____; Haiyoz.

guys....it's sarah here...
wakaka....yup yup...it's me....
been lost in this blog for quite some time....

anyway today it's my turn to post an entry bout new year too....
before i start...i wanna wish all of u guys a happy happy new year...

so...as u all know...some of the guys d\came to my hse for dinner....
but it was kinda surprising that ron n vincent ate kinda little....
ya...ESPECIALLY RON!!!!

haha...anyway don want to talk much bout that....
so bout the new year countdown....
hmm....it was kinda challenging for me....
the place was so the crowded and so hard to move....
and there were some quite ambrasing moments for some of us...
er....wan to know who's that???
haha...too bad...we'll keep it by ourself....
wakaka.....

now lets go to our journey back.....
it was so tiring after being cramp in such a crowded area....
and yet we still do not have the best timing n seats in the monorail...
there were extremely alot of ppl....
i don mind that...but the worst is that before our stop....
it was bukit bintang...if i'm not mistaken....
so there's a huge crowd in the monorail train till we cant even move into the train....
haha....lucky with all of our patient....we manage to get into a train after several train pass through....
oh ya...oh ya....when jean, leng and i got into the train....
there was no more room left for ron n vincent...
yikes!!!!no ron n vincent with us????
haha....they are smart enough to run to the next opening n force themselves into it....
what a smooth move....wakaka....

after that we took the ktm back from central to subang....
n u guys don't know how lucky were us....
we manage to catch the last train....and we even manage to get a place for ourself to seat...
haha...except for the guys...wanna act macho...don wan to sit....wakaka....
if we could not catch the last train...we must wait till 6.15 in the morning le...if i'm not mistaken...

so there it is....
our unforgetful journey n new year countdown...
at least we are back home safe n soundly....
all back in a piece....

oooo....b4 that...jean stayed over night at my hse too that night....
once we got back....haha...we took our shower n then headed for some CHICKEN WINGS....

A Very Merry Day

2nd day of New Year, gee.. time does fly fast isn't it? Last year i was still preparing to go college and this year i'm sitting at home realising that i'm not going to school as everyone else does tomorrow.

I'm gravely disappointed that I didn't join Sarah's party. On the other hand, despite what i've posted below, i'm much better now. So no worries!

So currently, my plan, i'm applying for Penang International Dental College. I still want Dentistry. Of course it would have been the best if i get Australia Universities. In the meantime, i'm considering Biomedical Science, which, if I'm taking it, i'll go Melbourne University or take up Taylor's Biomedical Science degree.

Btw, who was it that told me he/she is doing Biomedical Science? Mind telling me more about this course? i a bit blur about it.

haha okieee, basically vincent already told the countdown story on the 31st, its all about trying to survive in the huge crowd and the breathless and suffocation moments were really scary =x it might be fun if we join the crowd to play with those spraying things but we did not cause all of us didnt actually plan to go there at first and we do not have the 'preparation' to get our clothes dirty at that time BUT we still kena from those who are playing there, =/ well, not those really terrible ones atleast =x anywayz, get to meet up back with the lost ones after the countdown and found a place to have a drink and chill~

May all your new year resolutions be fulfilled this year. Weird eh seeing me online blogging so early on d first day of 2007!!! I just came back from new year countdown with Ron, Sarah, Jean and Leng. this is my first time celebrating it and i can tell you this is one experience i won't forget. We took KTM to KL central and Monorail to timesquare. Later we squeezed our way to Sungai Wang area for d fireworks show. So many people there..........got to squeeze in every tiny gap there is and get puched and pulled and kicked. Anyway i'm feeling lazy to type out everything. Just gonna leave it to Ron, Jean and Sarah to blog on it for you guys. Remember to blog on it arrrrr..........!!!!

Lalitha and Chu Jie, you two must learn to chill lar.....Chu Jie you still got so many options to chose from so i don't really see the problem. Plus you got so many people helping you to appeal. Lalitha i bet you sure can get in okay. you are one person i know who would not fail in any task. You would eventually find one Uni dat accepts you. Dun let dis spoil your first day of a new year. Try to enjoy it den later worry about d other stuffs.

Nothing much to talk now. Feeling so Zing San.........i dun noe why... i guess my countdown buddies are sleeping like pigs now and won't wake up any time soon. Happy New Year and Good Luck to you all!!!!

I extremely feel sorry for you, Chu Jie..

I am still struggling to get a place in a medical school.. Well, the problem is that i got 3As and 2Bs and i got a 15B for my Maths... ya, ya Lalitha got a 15B for her Maths... I think if i had gotten straight As it would be much easier for me to get into a medical school, but not in Chu Jie's case though.. Ah, what the heck.. i might as well appreciate what i have obtained and keep in my mind that i did my best during my final exams..

I visited UCSI today.. They said that everything was good except for Maths...but since my SPM results are good, they will help me to appeal to the dean of the medical school..Huh...

I think the competition is very high..So, i have to shine like a pearl during the interview..

Hey Hey, i can see that u guys put in some effort to keep this alive, nice~~~~

I'm bad. Not good at all. U'd think that with my score i can easily get into dental school, but heck no, i'm already rejected by 2 universities: University of Western Australia & University of Adelaide. I tell u, my heart breaks when i get the rejection letters. Adelaide was the one with most chance that i'd get in. But... what the hell lar...

I got offers. But all are pharmacy. Pharmacy still doesn't strike me as a career that i'll like.. I still like Dentistry, i still want to be a Dentist. Once i thought i'd just take up Pharmacy and go Monash just for the sake of going to the country i like - Australia. But again, the idea sounded freaking stupid, just for those years to be in Australia i'm gonna become a pharmacist for the rest of my freaking life??? But on the other hand, going to India (which is almost a guaranteed way for me becoming a dentist) is still not what i've imagined all along. i'm reluctant to go there.

What am i gonna do? I'm freaking sad now. I remembered last time how confident was i and how i was the one that comfort some of u guys regarding education... now i think of it, I feel so damn stupid. REally, how stupid was i to think that i'm really gonna make it to dentistry in Australia? I messed up between dreams and reality, and that's the gravest mistake one could have ever done.

On the contrary to Min Li's and Vincent's experiences during the holidays, my life here in Taman Ehsan (that's where i live) is very boring (times a thousand fold). I'm in boredom.. yeah.. NO PARTIES, NO OUTING WITH FRIENDS & ETC.. So pathetic..I was planning to go for a picnic with my family but that didn't happen. My brothers, on the other hand went for their holidays with their so called 'sporting and cool' friends.. MEANWHILE, i just kept on applying to medical colleges, wrote an appeal letter to IMU and kept on finding info regarding medical colleges. Oh yeah, i also saw a movie by the name of 'PAPILLON'.. I hope u guys have heard of it... if not try asking your parents coz it is an old movie.

The whole family of mine is so kecoh about me getting into a medical college.. Everyone is thinking that a tertiary entrance rank of 93.45 is so great.. but is not.. i am sure there are many more people who did better than me who also wants to be a doc.. well wish me luck.. i hope i get into a medical college soon coz i feel so akward sitting at home doing nothing.. i would rather study.. that's why i choose SAM.. i did not want to start a pre-u course until i have obtained my SPM results. i wanted to study immediately..

YAY! Finally got access to the net after 1 *** week... ish, so sien at home im telling you... Bored enough to message Vince n Mor to hear out to my random ramblings. **evntho one didnt reply.. **

Anywhoo.. How've yall been?? Had a happy Christmas? i've been spending quite a lot of time on outings with my old schoolmates, primary n secondary.. yes, Primary! see, jia xing.., still got some Lick Hung spirit in me LOL!! Outings meaning Party, BBq, Picnic sessions.. haha, so also means i've been makaning ALOT!

K, thts all from me, hv to get back to serious business now*ahem*.. Apparently having internet access means settling accommodation probs for uni.. Argh!! i;m sure u all share my pain.. Will be seeing some of yall later(makan Again)! Cant wait..
