Grace Ball

Heyy peeps, yesterday I went for a ball. It was SOOOOOOO good... Okok... the performances wasn't as good as our SAM corroboree, but the food was definitely better. So don't feel left out, kayz?. Oh yea... Michelle should have been there... I wonder whether she actually went for it or not? Anywayz... the time was to begin was 6.45, but me and some others involved in performances had to come earlier for practice. I was in the choir and we sang, 'You Raised Me Up' - Romeo X Juliet version. Actually... I didn't have much to sing, but still... chun song wei. Hahaha. Besides, choir is just to enhance the song. BUT to tell you the truth... eh heh... our efforts didn't mean much coz the lead's mic was very VERY loud (or ours weren't too loud enough?), so we got drained out. So imagine a group of people, behind the lead singer, flappin' our mouths... although, we were looking stylin' in our formal wear. Hahahha. Well, other than the choir, there was the dance performance, which was pretty cool. It's a fusion thing... watch the video and you'll know what I mean. {SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMNET: sorry, the video I can't show ya'll unless I wait like for erm... well, leave my com on overnight for the uploading process of like 1kb/s for a 115MB video. Haihz..., really sorry)

Oh yea, did I tell you about the food? It was actually really good, this 3-course meal. The entre, the main course and the desert. In the entre there was like this scallop, kinda weird... I thougt it was supposed to be a shelfish of a sort, like an oyster but it was presented as a round beige puck-like thingy which was actually an interesting morsel. SOmeone even asked for more... and well, (laughs in the background) he got refused. OUCH. For the main course, there was an alternate serving of either skin-less chicken (which I thought was FISH...XD) and steak. I got the chicky, but swithced for steak... Mmmm.. steak... (lip-smacking) Well yeah, that was nice too. But the bestest best part was the desert!!! There was this soup spoon which carried a scoop of ice-cream (cookies & cream, I figure) together with this apple pie sorta mini-tower which had this rich caramel at the base. It was soooooo good!!! I wanted more. So you know what I did??? During the slow dance, I went over to another table, and spotted an unattended desert plate. According to a friend, it was NOBODY'S! Yay!!! SO I was like munching down on that exquisite delicacy, even though I found myself full...( haihz..) I force myself anywayz. Wakakaka. =] Hmmm... do I hv a picture of this tasty treat? YEA, of course I do! (Wait I'll post LATER)

Oh yes, I mentioned dancing, right? Hahhaha. Yes I did. Dancing... well... tsk,... I did dance and I was one of the first (if not, really the first one...hee hee) to drag a lady to the dancefloor. She's my friend lerr, not some random person that someone dared me to ask for a dance (btw, someone did dare me to do something like that... offered 5 bucks too. And what did I say? "Keep your money", then I was in motion towards the girl (of course jokingly lerr... trip that fella enuf edi. haihz, you really think I wanna humiliate myself a? NO WAY!!!) [Kinda pathetic tho, people stoopin' down to dares at a formal party just for entertainment] Oh, where was I? Hmmm... ah yes, the dancing... yea, I did dance and switch partner and dance summore. Dance the cha cha, and ermm... some kinda dance that we made up, like the waltz, but I started drifting and so she followed too. That was really nice lerr... the drifting part, swaying and moving distances, unlike the other ballroom dances, small area dance... bah! But there was also the slow dance, in which I din go in (you kno why lerr... XD) Oh and the freestyle part... okok, in a group of guys and girls I joined, which made a ring,... And this fella suddenly only come in and stuck his his butt out and started to whack it like some kinda whacko in the ring itself (Maybe some like what Mr. Goh would do? Right, Mr. Goh???). Hahaha, hillarious. And I kno that person, too. He was in the choir, the same row as I. Trip, man. AHhahaha. Oh, the music was mainly of jazz as they had this live band playing and the singer sang rewally well too (Can be Min Hui's competition, coz she sang Fever - Michael Buble, too). Other than Fever, she sang a lot of other songs and one of which was that song Robbie Wiliams sang... Somewhere... beyond the sea... That Finding Nemo song. But she sang it slower I guess. In the end I had reaL fun lerr. I did lotsa things stuff I liked and I was snapping photos away, like a photoshot spree. I dunno whether I can place it all here (kla, not all lerr. Might just put a few) Ah! Did I tell you I tasted wine? First, there was white... *Bluek*, then red... *Bluek*, THEN a mix of white and red with dilution... *Bluek* (at lesat better than the last ones). I didn't like the after taste... yuckz. ANyway, there were really good champaign, (implied by one of the guys there), but I wasn't able to get any... maybe I wouldn't have liked it anywayz. AND I was SOBER all the way, okay? No way I'd get drunk, highly unlikely. Although one of my friends did get drunk. I dunno whether I knew at that time, but I saw him at an empty bar like heads on folded arms, on the table. I just asked him whether he was okay, and saw eyes of red when he looked at me. (I think he said, "I'm okay." hehe) So all set and done, I went back to my place, feelin' tire in my eyes, but my body could still take a few hits. The best part of the party, in general, was that I really enjoyed myself, dancing, singing (this one on my own lerr at the balcony.. teehee) and havein' fun. The best part of the party, specifically, was that I ate that SUPER DELICIOUS desert (Mmmmmmmm..., perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime sorta thing). However, the wurst part was that I lost my keys to the house and my room. =( SO how'd I manage to get in? well, for the front door, I just had to call an inside man. But for my personal chamber, I had to use a skill. Hehehhe. NIce wei that day. Too bad test coming... tmr (two days from the event). Haihz...

Ron's BIRTHDAY~

First of all, Happy birthday to Ronnie.. and i guess another couple of hours, happy birthday to KHai Jing...

There was much confusion in celebrating his birthday, seeing that he has got such a packed schedule on wednesday... ie from 10-5pm i think.... crazy... well anyway, turns out that he didn't know we're coming and we didn't know that he didn't know that we're coming.... XD i dunno what i'm crapping about...

So anyway, we decided to bake Ronnie a cake. Oreo cheesecake, courtesy of my sis's recipe and my bro's instructions.

Rakish Keyin' in

Hey peeps, what up from Perth. Yes, this is Rakish and from the first-time EVER, he's blogging! Wow,... acheivement wei. =) *pats back and smiles* Oh yea, I have to give some preps to Chuj for the user ID, and Sarah for the password. (C'mon, everybody, clap clap!)

Okay okay, it's been like more than a month since touch down and well, this place has kissed up a lil' so far. Murdoch uni ain't too fantastic, but on the good side, I gots lotsa free time. You see... I'm only taking 3 units this sem (and one of them is a so called 'foundation unit') So yea... imagine on fortnights I have 3 days with only one lecture... in a row summore; Mon-Wed. So what does Monsieur Rakish do in his free time? hehehehe... well other than the known record of 'head hunting' (lookin' for frens lerr)... I also sit-in for lectures. Let me see... once for finance, one for programming, another for accounting, twice for chiropractics, and twice for marketing. So free, yah? hahaha. Oh, and other than crashing, I have been sighted on a small field, just in front of the library, doing some stunts along with an Aus dude who was said to look like a ninja, even though that day he wore T-shirt and pants... don't ask me why but that's my fren's opinion. (but still, he does own SEVERAL katanas, so probably in a somewhat right direction?) [if anyone dunno wat a katana is, go goog it] Hahaha, by this time, maybe Julie would be on my back trying to figure out what's goin on with me. (actually Julie is my so called 'baby sitter'. She's my ma's eyes and caretaker by my bro... which is an interesting story if I tell you peeps why my bro is involved. hehehe.) "Hey, Julie!!! If you really wanna kno, stalk me on Saturday mornings! Then perhaps you'd find out!" I wonder if she'd be promoted to stalker rank...

Anyway, yah, back to me... =) Emo time: I... I... lost something crucial to me. *sad music plays, When You're Gone - Avril Lavigne* It happened unexpectedly, never thought it would happen. *Sniff* *Sniff* Losing sight hurts so bad... blindness.
