Well, it's been about...close to three months since I got back. I went into hiding during the first month, to take a break and resettle after being away from home for the longest time as of yet. Come July, I started my driving lessons which were on almost everyday. I had to practice like mad to get my driving license, and it didn't help that I sucked majorly at it at first, especially at roundabouts. Getting my license was a miracle. I still need heaps of practice even till today though, judging from my mum's reactions when she's sitting next to me while I'm driving. Had my hands full while helping to edit the church newsletter some weeks ago. Now it's August, and I'm back to helping Mum run errands or shopping. Still no sign of a part-time job yet..phooey.
If anyone's wondering how it was at camp... it was, surprisingly enjoyable. Thanks so much for the encouragements and reassurances before I went. :) The first few weeks were torture ("Eh, how long left?" "85 more days. D:" "T_____T"), but as we got used to it, and made friends, it became better, bit by bit. Not that it was perfect (for instance, it was usual for us to be told of what physical activity we'd be carrying out minutes before it actually takes place, instead of in advance.), but the positive experiences far outnumber the negative ones and it was definitely better than expected. :D We were in good hands and good company.
If anyone's remotely interested, maybe one day I'll put up a more detailed post about the whole thing, with pictures to boot. XD I'll also try to put up pictures and movies I took at college throughout last year. Maybe it'll be a fortnightly thing, depending on if I've anything on.
